Lubo Out & Grabner Suspension

8:37 pm: Two games for Grabner. Still -- I'm thinking this is a bit of BS myself. But Rules are Rules and the NHL has to (seem) to abide by them.

The NY Islanders have officially placed defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky on IR as of 10/19/13 with a concussion.

So, if that is three games without Vis, that should give Matt Donovan some time on the Power Play. Or....

It could put Radek Martinek back on the team.

Either way, this is not the way the Isles would like to get through October when points count.

Also, I'm wondering how Michael Grabner's discipline hearing will go today. While it is only a phone call (which is a good thing), I can't even believe that Gremlin is being called into the principal's office. The fastest skater in the NHL hit the smallest skater in the NHL. It just seems out of character.
