Stuart Suspended Three Games. Fair or Not?

The NHL came down with their ruling and game Brad Stuart a three-game suspension for his elbow on Rick Nash on Tuesday. Because it was a phone hearing, the max he could get was four games, so the suspension is in line with what likely was expected.

That said, given Nash's concussion history and how he felt after the game, at this time it's hard to say its what Stuart was given is fair or not. If Nash is back in a game or two with no setbacks, then yes, it's likely fair. If not, then this gets into a broader discussion as to whether suspensions should be tied how long a player is out, which is something that needs to be decided and discussed by the league's rules committee and NHLPA.

What say you, is the suspension fair or not?
