10/1/13 12:42 pm: Michael Grabner is sick and is day to day. Wonder if he has the same bronchitis that is going around. Art Staple of Newsday announced that Kyle Okposo and Andrew MacDonald will wear the "A's" this season. As Travis Hamonic skated today, he is also slated to be on the ice for the Opener and should definitely be at Saturday's home opener.

10/1/13 10:37 am: Travis Hamonic is practicing with the team at the Coliseum this morning, but in a non-contact jersey. Michael Grabner is not on the ice this morning. Hmmmm.... Now what?

Kyle Okposo is back on the first line with Moulson and Tavares and Bailey is on a line with Martin and Nielsen. Nelson is on with REgin and Bouchard and Boulton is with Cizikas and McDonald.

9/30/13 4:31 pm: The Islanders are said to be treating Travis Hamonic for a possible concussion. No extended time expected for him to be out. Which is good.

3:06 pm: The NY Islanders have announced their 23 man roster for 2013-2014 season:
