The Buffalo Sabres are in a bind.
The season opens Wednesday night in Detroit and their top line right winger is not ready
Injured winger Marcus Foligno didnt practice today. Ron Rolston has since said that Foligno doesnt look good to play in the season opener in Detroit on Wednesday night. The Sabres roster is presentky at 24 players with Zemgus Girgensons Brian Flynn and Johan Larsson still in Buffalo.
Foligno suffered a strained shoulder last Sunday night in Toronto.
If Foligno's injury is of longer term then Darcy Regier will not have to send a player to Rochester by 5pm today.
