The Albany Devils have finally rounded out their coaching staff.
Today it was announced that former New Jersey Devil, Sergei Brylin, has been named an assistant coach in Albany.
Brylin will join a staff that features Rick Kowalsky as head coach, Tommy Albelin as the other assistant and goaltending coach Dave Caruso.
Brylin, 39, recorded 308 points in 765 games in a career that saw him win three Stanley Cups as a member of the Devils.
Personally I think Brylin is a great hire and will do wonders for the kids in Albany.
He had a very successful career and the Devils love him as a person. Brylin was always loyal to the Devils and Lou Lamoriello is showing his loyalty by giving him a coaching job within the organization.
