The Pittsburgh Penguins have started selling tickets for the regular season. They started selling tickets for the upcoming season at 10 AM today.

I apologize for not being out in front of that information.

Here is the link if you are interested in purchasing tickets for the 2013-2014 Penguins season

There still should be a good amount of tickets to choose from, good luck.

The Wilkes Barre Scranton Penguins have released their jersey designs for the upcoming season. As you can see they are commemorating their 15th season with one of the jersey designs.

Personally I have never been a huge fan of the jersey designs/ logo that WB/S has used. I have never been a fan of the red that finds its way into the design. At the end of the day I guess I don't care all that much about what they wear either.

The penguins have hired a new goalie development coach. Mike Buckley will be replacing the recently promoted Mike Bales.

Buckley has worked with such premier goalies as Jonathan Quick and Tuukka Rask. He has also worked with Ty Conklin.

Buckley was most recently with the University of New Hampshire as their goaltending coach.

Here is the rest of his professional résumé

Prior to working at New Hampshire, Buckley served five years as the goaltending coach at his alma mater, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, from 2007-12. During that period he also served as a goalie consultant for the Columbus Blue Jackets (2010-12) and Dynamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).

Tomorrow my plan is to post something about the rookie tournament game against Toronto, so until then...
