The Anaheim Ducks will host a SoCal Hockey Futures Game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Honda Center. The game will start at 6 p.m and both parking and admission are FREE! Following the game fans in attendance will be treated to an autograph session with some of Southern California's fastest rising stars.

According to the press release, several of the Ducks top prospects will be in attendance, including Anaheim's most recent first round picks, defensemen Shea Theodore (26th overall in 2013), Hampus Lindholm (sixth overall in 2012) and Rickard Rakell (30th overall in 2011).

Complete rosters will be released sometime in the near future. You can expect other notable prospects, such as goalie John Gibson to be on that roster when it does come out.

The game is part of a home-and-home series with the Kings. Following this game both teams will head to El Segundo for a second game on Monday, Sept. 9 at the Toyota Sports Center. That game also starts at 6 p.m and it's also FREE!

The mini-series is part of a week long Ducks rookie camp scheduled for Sept. 4-9. All sessions are open to the public and I suggest you get to as many of these as you can. It's great to see all the young guns out on the ice. For some of the kids it's their fist taste of NHL hockey and for others it's the final tune up before trying to make the jump up to the big time. Regardless, it's fun to watch hockey for FREE!

Once the the complete roster becomes available I will post it.

Sorry, no update on Teemu Selanne.
