The New Jersey Devils have finally reached an agreement with Adam Henrique.
After months of negotiations, the two sides have agreed to a long-term contract extension that will keep him in the Red and Black for the next six seasons.
Henrique will earn $24 million during the six-year deal which will carry an annual cap hit of $4 million per season.
Henrique, 23, is coming off an 11 goal, 16 point campaign in a lockout shortened season that saw him take the ice 42 times.
Henrique has 67 points in 117 regular season games and figures to be a big part of the Devils future.
