Another former New Jersey Devil is heading overseas.

This time it's veteran winger Alexei Ponikarovsky, who has signed with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL. Ponikarovsky, 33, signed a two-year deal with SKA and will join former Devil, Ilya Kovalchuk.

Ponikarovsky had a less than mediocre season during the lockout shortened year as he recorded just four goals and nine points in 42 game. The Ukrainian winger had a solid NHL career overall, though, as he played in 678 games and picked up 323 points over that span.

While there's a chance if Ponikarovsky plays well in the KHL he could return to the NHL at 35, it seems unlikely.
