We may be in the dog days of the summer, but that isn't keeping Jay Feaster from staying busy.

The Calgary Flames have agreed to terms with Josh Jooris, according to Ken Schott, a college hockey writer for the Schenectady Daily Gazette.

Jooris, 23, is a 6'1 centerman who spent his last three seasons with Union College of the ECAC. He's coming off a pretty solid season where he scored 12 times and recorded 28 points and 46 penalty minutes in 39 games.

Jooris recently attended the Flames development camp and reportedly was one of the players who stood out, so this contract shouldn't come as a surprise.

The signing is expected to be announced today or tomorrow, according to Schott.

Jooris will likely play with the Flames AHL affiliate, the Abbotsford Heat this season.
