Jay Feaster and the Calgary Flames have retained yet another one of their own.

This time it's defenseman Mark Cundari, who was acquired from St. Louis in the Jay Bouwmeester trade.

Cundari, 23, signed a one-year, two-way extension with the Flames. He is expected to be among the group of players, including Chris Breen etc., who compete for a roster spot on the Flames next season.

Cundari's extension will see him earn $600K in the NHL and $100K if in Abbotsford.

Flames re-sign Chris Breen.

Feaster expected to play it safe with T.J. Brodie's next contract.

A look at how the Flames 3 1st round picks performed in the CHL last season.
