With Ilya Kovalchuk bolting to the KHL, the New Jersey Devils are left with a pretty big hole in their lineup.

If there was any doubt as to if they needed another top-6/9 forward, there certainly isn't any longer.

There aren't any stars remaining in free agency, but there still are some players who are capable of replacing at least some of the offense the Devils lost when Kovalchuk left.

The Devils need another forward or two, the question is: who should they bring in?

Have your say below.

Note: If you choose to target someone via trade, please specify in the comment section.

  • Damien Brunner
  • Mason Raymond
  • Mikhail Grabovski
  • Jaromir Jagr
  • Someone else via trade
  • Stand pat

Is Kovalchuk planning a return to the NHL?

My take on Marek Zidlicky's extension with the Devils.

Just how good is Reid Boucher?
