Blues Send Perron to Edmonton + Stewart Files for Arbitration

You may have heard the news on Twitter first, but here's the details on today's Blues news...

The St. Louis Blues trade forward David Perron to the Edmonton Oilers for winger Magnus Paajarvi and a 2014 second-round pick.

Restricted Free Agent forward Chris Stewart has filed for arbitration.

Will be back with my deeper thoughts tonight. For now have at it in the comments. My guy reaction: in terms of clearing salary this was as good of a deal as could be had and it was a no brainer for Stewart.
