The Oilers still need: 2nd line LW, 3rd line RW, 4th line winger.

They still don't have a top-pairing left shot defenseman, but getting one of those might be impossible. Keep in mind the Oilers have a stack of guy who are not going to be dealt (Hall, Eberle, Nugent-Hopkins, Yakupov, Justin Schultz, Petry, Klefbom, and Nurse).

If there's a serious contract problem between the Oilers and Sam Gagner, he might need to be moved. If the Oilers want to shift Magnus Paajarvi, they will need a 3rd line LW to replace him.

Are there any answers left from free agency? You tell me. Here's the Oilers best options going into this morning.

Tim Connolly
Vinny Prospal
Mikhail Grabovski
Derek Roy
Simon Gagne
Alexi Ponikarovsky
Brenden Morrow
Jaromir Jagr
Dustin Penner
Peter Mueller
Mayson Raymond
Dan Cleary
Brad Boyes
Damien Brunner
Ryan Jones
Colby Armstrong
Tom Gilbert

Frightening. There's a few names there of interest, but for the most part, this is a disaster of a list. MacT needs to sign the one or two useful guys remaining today, or any help we can get from free agency is gone.
