Less than a week after acquiring David Jones and Shane O'Brien from the Colorado Avalanche, Jay Feaster is at it again.

The Calgary Flames have acquired forward TJ Galiardi from the San Jose Sharks, according to Pierre LeBrun.

Calgary will reportedly give up a 4th round draft pick in 2015 for Galiardi's services.

Galiardi, 25, had five goals and 14 points in 36 games for the Sharks this past season.

The 6'2, 190lb winger has 39 goals and 87 points in 221 career NHL games. He's a capable 3rd line winger who brings a nice mix of size and skill.

Galiardi was a restricted free agent but has reportedly signed a one-year contract with the Flames worth $1.25 million.

I like this move for Calgary. Galiardi provides depth, size, skill and came at a low price, both in terms of what Feaster gave up to get him and in salary.

Why the Flames should target Jonathan Blum.

I examine how Jay Feaster and company did in this year's draft.
