I've just arrived at the arena and it's empty, as expected. Love the thought that this place will be packed in just a few hours, even though we have anticipated better Sabres games than this one.



The Sabres haven't played a game without both Thomas Vanek and Jason Pominville since April 3, 2006 (536 games). They will tonight vs Ottawa.

Buffalo will have Nathan Gerbe on the top line tonight.
