Notes: Martin Brodeur will start...Stefan Matteau returns to the lineup in place of the injured Ryan Carter...Carter suffered an upper-body injury against Ottawa and didn't travel to Washington...Mark Fayne is expected to sit again in place of Henrik Tallinder...Peter Harrold is the other healthy scratch...The Devils have beat the Capitals in four straight meetings.

Capitals to watch out for:

Mike Ribeiro - He has been stellar for the Capitals this season, especially of late. Ribeiro has 10 points (4G, 6A) in his last seven games.

Alexander Ovechkin - The Great Eight has started to come around the corner a bit in the last couple weeks as he has seven points and 30 shots in his last seven games.

Eric Fehr - After a terrible start to the season, Fehr is red hot having registered six points (3G, 3A) in the last four games.

Devils to watch out for:

Stefan Matteau - He's back in the Devils lineup for the first time in nine days. Matteau will see 3rd line minutes in place of Ryan Carter, who is out with an upper-body injury.

Patrik Elias - Elias had a goal and an assist against Washington earlier in the year and has 52 career points against Washingtonm the most points recorded vs. the Capitals all-time as a Devil.

Ilya Kovalchuk - He's been a Capitals killer throughout his career recording 56 points (26G, 30A) in 51 games.
