The New Jersey Devils have announced that they have acquired center Andrei Loktionov from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for their 5th round pick in 2013.

Loktionov, 22, had 22 points in 37 games with the Kings AHL affiliate, Manchester, this season.

The Devils have announced Loktionov will be assigned to Albany for the time being.

Loktionov is loaded with skill and has wanted out of the Kings organization for a while now. He gets a change of scenery and the Devils add a very talented piece for just a 5th round pick. Classic example of buying low by Lou Lamoriello here.
