More than One Game on Sunday!

Got time before the 'big game' on Sunday? Are you like me and believe the Super Bowl is only about two things? 1) What are we eating? and 2) Did I win any money? Then how about taking the family to the Islander game before hand for less than $30 a person for four? Not good enough? How about if each of you also got a hot dog and soda for that price? Still not buying? What if you also received a $10 gift card to Applebee's so you could pick up some wings or a veggie patch pizza on your way to watch the Super Bowl later?

Sorry I know, a sales pitch? Can't help it, this is an excellent deal. Can you beat a $99 package (plus fees) or you can spend about $50 more and get my favorite seats in the End Loge Defend section for $149 (again, plus fees). The Isles already beat the Devils at the rock, wouldn't you like to see them do it at the Coliseum?

Can't go on Sunday? How about Monday, Feb 18th for the President's Day 1 pm game? You know the kids would love that, you know you would too. What else are you going to do with them? Go shopping at Roosevelt Field? Really? On a holiday?

I just think this is a great deal. We know that actually BEING at a hockey game can be expensive, but the Applebee's Family Fun Pack is available for 2/3, 2/18, 2/24, 3/3, 3/9 and 3/24. At these prices you CAN actually afford to take the kids and have a good time. Seats are limited so you have to call soon: 1-800-882-Isles Ext. 3 or email them at [email protected].

Just don't leave your Applebee's waitress a nasty note on the receipt or you'll end up an internet cheap skate and she may end up without a job

So, Jack's shiner is turning all sorts of colors. It's tough to be him recently. For more reasons than one Josh Bailey was skating today, which is a good sign. But the big question is what will happen to the lines when Visnovsky finally decides to show up? Today is already the 2nd and he said he'd be here no later than the 11th. Jack will have some tough decisions to make now that the team is clicking.

I would imagine it will be Nabokov between the pipes again since he had a stellar game and a few days of rest. No need to screw things up now
