Lines courtesy of DailyFaceoff.com.

Matt Hendricks - Mike Ribeiro - Troy Brouwer
Jason Chimera - Jay Beagle - Joel Ward

Here are the projected lines (subject to change) for the Devils:

Mattias Tedenby - Travis Zajac - Ilya Kovalchuk
Dainius Zubrus - Patrik Elias - David Clarkson
Ryan Carter - Stephen Gionta - Steve Bernier
Stefan Matteau - Jacob Josefson - Krys Barch

Bryce Salvador - Marek Zidlicky
Andy Greene - Mark Fayne
Anton Volchenkov - Henrik Tallinder

Notes: Martin Brodeur will start...Krys Barch is expected to make his debut as a member of the Devils...Cam Janssen is expected to sit up front...Peter Harrold and Adam Larsson will remain the healthy scratches on defense...Adam Henrique is still recovering from injury and will not play...Devils are looking to begin the season 3-0-0 for the first time since their Stanley Cup 2002-03 campaign.

Capitals to watch out for:

Mike Ribeiro - The skilled center is the leading scorer for the Capitals through three games with three assists.

Alexander Ovechkin - He has just one assist in the Capitals first three games. He'll need to be better if the Capitals hope to win tonight.

Michal Neuvirth - The Capitals goaltending situation is a bit of a mess right now. Both Neuvirth and Braden Holtby are talented but neither goaltender has run away with the starting role. Neuvirth has another chance to do that tonight.

Devils to watch out for:

Mattias Tedenby - He has created a fair share of chances in the first two games and will now be tested out on the top line with Zajac and Kovalchuk. This is as good of an opportunity as Tedenby's going to get to prove he can play in the NHL.

Travis Zajac - Zajac has been arguably the Devils best forward and has scored in each of the Devils' first two games. Will that trend continue tonight?

Bryce Salvador - He has been an absolute rock on defense during the first two games. In order for the Devils to win, he'll have to be solid once again as he's sure to be matched up against the Ovechkin line.
