Best thing about the lockout is ... it's over.

Not declared officially, but it's over.

I'm thinking Penguins at Flyers in an afternoon/evening double-header since we have college hockey (Vermont vs. Penn State) that day at Wells Fargo Center.

Now here's a thought for everyone thinking about those 2 compliance buyouts that kick-in NEXT season but now this one.

If Tim Thomas decides he wants to play right now - he said he was sitting a y ear o ut - do you go get him and finagle the cap to handle his $5 million salary?

Or do you give Ilya Bryzgalov a season to "prove" himself before deciding on a buyout? He was pretty awesome in March before getting hurt.
