4:53 pm: Have you read Ty Anderson's piece from Tuesday yet? http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Ty-Anderson/My-sources-are-better-than-yours/141/47783
Read it. Even though we are here on Thursday at almost 5 pm and nothing has really changed with the lockout, if you watch from the sidelines or are in the battle of the media, read the piece. It's a good one.
Another night, another lose for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. But Nino is averaging a point per game if you are looking to take something good out of the game. Travis Hamonic did NOT play last night. After I made comments yesterday about Brett Gallant's PIMs, Brandon DeFazio racked up 15 in last night's game. He received a game misconduct for fighting Brandon Segal for boarding Matt Donovan. Good to stick up for his team mate though.
Anders Nilsson was the man in net and gave up the first goal at only 3:26 of the first period. Two more games this week to turn get over the slump that leaves the Tigers now at 10-10-0-1. Yikes. Come on boys. Let's get it together.
For the good news of the day, the Isles coaching staff went shopping at Toys R Us for 450 gifts for hospitalized children on Long Island and in Queens. Capuano looks good, doesn't he? But I miss seeing Matt Martin shop for Barbies.
