Well, another win for the Sound Tigers with Anders Nilsson in net with a score of 6 - 2 over the Bruins on a Sunday afternoon in Providence.

David Ullstrom is making up for lost time and netted two of the Sound Tigers goals and assisted on another to give him a three point afternoon. Well, welcome back David.

For the Bruins, Christian Hanson (of Slap Shot bloodlines) got one past Anders in the first period for his first of the season, but only Warsofsky could put another one behind Nilsson as the clock ticked down in the first period.

The second period brought nothing but net for the Sound Tigers, Hamonic, Niederreiter and Ullstrom all scored chasing Bruins goalie Svedberg from the net for the final period.

But the scoring came with a parade to the penalty box as well. The Sound Tigers amassed 51 penalty minutes led by Gallant and DeFazio who are in the double digits in PIMs for fighting.

Nelson had five shots on net, but couldn't find the back of it -- this time while Matt Donovan was a +3 for the afternoon with one assist.

All in all, a good weekend for the boys from Bridgeport. Now they deserve a little rest. Those three games in three days are grueling and sometimes in the AHL they could play as many as six in eight. No private air jets for them, the AHL is long bus rides and grueling schedules. But I'm pretty sure at this point, every one of these guys is very 'thankful' to be playing hockey.

Happy Monday HBers.
