A 60 game season?

If any of you were looking to make your way into the NHL as a goaltender, the Wild are holding an emergency goalie contest. However, they have already determined the participants, so you missed your shot there.

The Wild had a 51-year-old serve as the emergency backup last year, but he never played in the game.

There's really not much going on right now. I'm thinking there won't be any NHL hockey until December, if at all. It sounds like a 60 game season beginning next month could be the last and final attempt, which is alright.

It's not the full 82 game season that we all wanted, but many people think that is too long anyway.
