Several New Jersey Devils prospects were in action last night across the CHL and BCHL. Let's see how they fared.

- Alexander Kerfoot was held off the scoresheet last night in a 2-1 Coquitlam Express loss to the Surrey Eagles. Kerfoot has four assists in four games so far this year.

- Reid Boucher had an assist and was minus-2 in a 4-3 Sarnia loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

- Ben Johnson was minus-1 and racked up 2PIMs in a 3-2 shootout loss to Mississauga. Johnson did not shoot in the shootout.

- Ben Thomson was held off the scoresheet in a 2-1 Kitchener Rangers win over the powerhouse London Knights.

- For the first time this year, Stefan Matteau did not register at least a goal and an assist in a game. He racked up 4PIMs and did not register a point in a 6-0 win.

- Graham Black scored and recorded 2PIMs in a 5-4 Swift Current shootout loss to Brandon. Black did shoot in the shootout and did not score. He's had an impressive start to the season, recording five points (1G, 4A) in his first four games.

- Damon Severson had no points or penalty minutes in a 1-0 Kelowna loss to the Portland Winterhawks.

The following Devils prospects are in action tonight: Graham Black (Swift Current), Damon Severson (Kelowna), Stefan Matteau (Blainville-Boisbriand), Alexander Kerfoot (Coquitlam Express) and Reid Boucher (Sarnia).

I'll be back tomorrow with updates on their performances.
