Day #2 of Sabres in Focus - Tyler Myers

Entering his fourth season with the Sabres is standout defenseman Tyler Myers. He only played in 55 games last season, but put up eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points.

Myers is signed through 2019 and I would expect a bounce back year from him.

Myers' career best offensive numbers came during his rookie season, in which he put up 48 points (11 G, 37 A). Could he top those numbers this season?

Playing with Christian Ehrhoff could help Myers not only on the backend, but also in the box score. While I don't believe Myers will hit a new career high in goals, I think his assists will be up there.

My prediction: 79 GP, 9 G, 35 A, 44 pts

Based on the polls from yesterday's post, readers have predicted Pominville's offensive totals for this season.

My prediction: 32 G, 45 A, 77 pts
Readers' prediction: 28 G, 44 A, 72 pts
