To see the most current team speculation on all the possible trade-able players and some comments updated regularly, go to The Rumor Chart. Players are added and adjusted throughout the days as to what percentages I feel are their most likely destinations based on the hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, IMs and telegrams I receive.

Quick Hits to start...

* Selanne has signed with Anaheim for 1 year

* I am hearing we will get word from Doan soon, and all signs are pointing towards him staying in Phoenix...If he were to leave however, the Penguins may be the team to beat I am told.

* Alex Semin will likely be the domino to fall when Doan's decision is made. Pitt, NYR, NJ, and Detroit are all in Semin.

* Luongo Update. from a source, "Until the asking price is severely diminished nothing will get done." The two main teams, Toronto and Florida are both starting to turn their focus elsewhere..The Leafs have never been further from getting this deal done for Luongo. I am hearing from all sides Vancouver continues to sit back and wait for someone to accept their offer.

* With this is mind. I am also hearing the patience level in the Rick Nash camp is running very dry. A player told me Nash has been an amazingy good soldier through all of this until now...but that may be about to change. I am getting the impression, as of this morning, Nash is closer to seeing resolution than Luongo is...

* I have heard the Leafs have interest in Patrick Marleau and Getzlaf...There is definitely some enormous pressure on Toronto to improve their team right now and with the Leafs starting to deal with the fact that Vancouver may never come down on the Luongo price...

* There is another rumor out there that the Montreal Canadiens are interested in Patrick Marleau and might be willing to give the Sharks MUCH more back if the Sharks were to include a defenseman the Habs have long coveted.

*The Sharks are still the favorites (in my opinion) in the Nash sweeps, so they are on hold for now.

* I am hearing rumors the Leafs were in on Mueller who signed in Florida today for 1.7. Love what Tallon is doing and Mueller might open up some more options to get Luongo done.

* I have also heard some talk that teams are asking Minnesota about Dany Heatley. Nothing big yet, but something I am tracking for sure.

* And finally, the Flyers are still very much interested in Bobby Ryan unless Bob Murray can get the asking price of a second line center+ from elsewhere. So far talks have stalled around the Flyers unwillingness to give up Schenn or Couturier, but I am hearing Voracek and Read are still possible, and when you put these two into a package wth picks and Flyers D-man Bourdon you end up with what most feel is a better package than anyone else will pay. I think it is very safe to say the Flyers will go further to add Bobby Ryan than any other team at this point. I also feel Murray will definitely move Bobby Ryan...but I also know, from talking to people close to this on both sides, there is no rush yet...

*CBA Hope? I have been hearing some inner rumblings that both sides may consider playing another season under the current CBA before delaying this season...as long as talks continue to be cordial and they get a sense progress is being made.
