Kings to watch out for:

Jeff Carter - He was minus-3 and had just two shots in Game 4. The Kings will need more from him if they want to close out the series tonight.

Dustin Brown - Brown has been very physical in this series, but he hasn't produced much offense. He has just one point and five shots in the series.

Drew Doughty - He recorded another point in Game 4 and now has points in every game of the series.

Devils to watch out for:

Ilya Kovalchuk - With two full days off, Kovalchuk had an extra day to get treatment on his back. Let's see if it makes a difference.

Patrik Elias - He has been the Devils best forward in this series, in my opinion, and has been getting better every game. L.A. will need to do a better job against him tonight if they want to hoist the Stanley Cup in Newark.

Martin Brodeur - This could be Brodeur's last time in the Stanley Cup Final. There's nothing he would like to do more than grab another title in historic fashion. He'll need to be good tonight, and in Game 6 and 7 (if necessary), if he's going to make it happen.

Keys to the game

Los Angeles - Get an early lead

The Devils have regained some confidence and they're playing an elimination game in front of their home crowd. The fans will try to give the Devils a boost early, no doubt, so if the Kings can jump out to an early lead they'll be in excellent position to close things out.

New Jersey - Convert on powerplay chances

The Devils have had a fair amount of powerplay's in this series and they haven't been able to capitalize on their changes. They'll need to start doing so if they have any hope of coming back in this series. That starts tonight.
