Today's guest of the NY Islanders is Mikhail Grigorenko. The imposing Russian forward at 6'2" and 183 pounds did not participate in the physicals at the combine as he recovers from mono. (insert middle school giggle here)

Grigorenko scored 85 points this past season in 59 games for the Quebec Ramparts (40 goals, 45 assists. Nice!)

Is Garth thinking this will be someone Kirill Kabanov can pal around with or get in trouble with? Or is he just one of the best young talents that may be available at 4th? Rumor has it:

He's a strong offensive talent that will be a star forward at the NHL level for some time. He also gives teams a left-handed shot with a quick release in the offensive zone.
