Rochester native, Ryan Callahan, re-created one of the most memorable plays in Buffalo Sabres history. Callahan won the O-zone draw to create Brad Richards' game tying goal with 6.6 seconds remaining in regulation. The Caps, leading 2-1 and in control, were dealt a crippling blow when their forward Joel Ward clipped a Ranger player in the face with a high stick. Ward was assessed a double minor for high sticking.
