Although it is the first of May, today isn't the anniversary of arguably one of the Sabres' most memorable goals, when Brad May scored to finish off a 4 game sweep of the Boston Bruins. The goal happened in late April of 1993, and here's another look at it:
It's bone chilling. However, the Sabres were swept by Montreal in the next round to end the season.
May has scored four goals in 88 career playoff games, but none bigger than the one he scored for Buffalo. Heroes are created in the postseason. May's goal will forever go down as one of the top moments in Sabres history.
