Welcome to the Hotstove! As always, I'm your host, Travis Yost.

After the New Jersey Devils staved off elimination on home ice through Travis Zajac's overtime marker at 5:39, the Eastern Conference officially produced a third game seven for the first-round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

While many expected the New Jersey and Florida series to be tightly contested, two of the other draws have produced unexpectedly close results.

The top-seeded New York Rangers have met a game opponent in the Ottawa Senators, and the two are headed back to Madison Square Garden for a Thursday night game seven after New York's thrilling 3-2 victory at Scotiabank Place.

Much like New York, the Boston Bruins also had to win a do-or-die game six against their opponent, beating the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center on Sunday. Tyler Seguin's extra-time winner gave Boston new life, and sent the series back to TD Garden for what should be a wild game seven.

So, what do we have? A seven and eight seed that have pushed superior competition to the brink, and a fairly even three/six draw that's played out accordingly.

Your job? Pick the winners of each game seven. Can you go three for three?

Drop your rationale for the picks in the comments section below.
