Kaleta is in the lineup. He's skating with McCormick and Boyes.

Gerbe is the extra forward.

Sulzer will stay in. Weber to sit.

Word out of DC, is that Dale Hunter will ice same lineup tonight vs. Buffalo that he did on Sunday vs. Minnesota. Meaning, he'll roll 11 forwards and 7 D.

Ovechikin will get double-shifted.

The Sabres have sent robust centre, Travis Turnbull, back to AHL Rochester.

His first NHL sorie was a smash success, having scored his first NHL knockout, and scoring his fIrst NHL goal against this season's Vezina Trophy winner will be a memory that Turnbull will take with him for the rest of his life!

Kaleta has been cleared to play tonight. I expect Ruff to activate PK36 and play him in his regular role. Nathan Gerbe, also was cleared for action, however, he's only had on practice with the team after missing over a week of action due to an upper body strain. I don't expect Gerbe to play tonight in Washington.

More to come after the Sabres skate in Washington
