According to an announcement on the Blues official website, Jaden Schwartz has left Colorado College and will join the Blues in Chicago.

Passing along some news this afternoon regarding the status of St. Louis Blues prospect Jaden Schwartz.

According to Brian Gomez, the Colorado College men's hockey team beat writer for the Colorado Springs Gazette, Schwartz is expected to sign a pro contract as soon as Tuesday. One that pays $700,000/year in the NHL and $250,000/year in the AHL. Of course it would be prorated based on the number of games he plays in the remainder of the season.
