You will be able to watch tonight's Sabres-Canadiens game on the MSG Network in Buffalo on Time Warner Cable. The two side checked their guns at the door, and found common ground on an agreement late this afternoon.

"Our office has worked diligently with Time Warner Cable and MSG Networks over the last month to bring about a resolution to their dispute," says NY Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman. "We are pleased that both parties have reached an agreement that will finally allow Knicks, Rangers, and Sabres fans to enjoy the rest of this season's games."

The dispute between MSG and Time Warner Cable has resulted in 15 Buffalo Sabres games being taken off cable in the Western New York area.

From earlier today:

Lindy Ruff does his best to explain away the Hindenburg-like crash of his team in Philly last night.

Ruff loved the first twenty minutes. He told his team between periods that the Flyers would be loaded for bear in period two. Like Nostradamus, he predicted the future. His team was oblivious and unresponsive to the Philly surge.

thanks, sabres.com

Sounds like the standard modus operandi of this forgettable season. Ruff and the coaches prepare their players for the nuances and tendencies of the opponent. At the first sign of push-back, the Sabres get cotton-mouth and lose their nerve. They have become a team that is easily rattled. They love to dish it out, buy they just can't take the pressure.

I've heard many people today criticizing Ruff for pulling Enroth at the critical 3-2 juncture in the Philly loss. Ruff wasn't yanking Jhonas because he sucked. He did it to tazer the usual suspects of "the sky is falling" conspiracy theorists who reside on his bench . The move back-fired in Lindy's face. His team blinked first and the rest is history. Ruff blew a gasket and was seen bitching out his bench when the score got to 4-2. I can't say I blame him. I'd have stroked out by now if I was coaching undisciplined players like Derek Roy. Some say that Lindy's lads are tuning him out and that its time for a change in head coach. I say poppycock. Blow out the "woe is me" faction on this team immediately.

Ruff didn't forget how to coach overnight. he's still a tremendous teacher and mentor, especially for young talent. The Sabres room certainly would benefit from the subtraction of a couple of under-performing, undermining, formerly productive players.

Flyers tough guy Tom Sestito blew out his groin during this punch in the face contest with Zack Kassian last night.

Sestito will have surgery to repair his torn groin and will be lost for 6-8 weeks.

Ouch!
