Jason Pominville and his Team Alfredsson teammates beat Team Chara, 21-12 on Saturday night in Ottawa.
Pommer more than held his own in the two competitions that he participated in. He finished second to Steven Stamkos in the breakaway elimination contest at the All Star Game skills Competition.
Pommer moved deftly and scored clutch goals to advance to the finals with the uber talented Stamkos.
Luke Adam acquitted himself well in the hardest shot competition. Adam's own teammate, Jhonas Enroth, chirped the rook on Twitter before the event on Saturday night by saying that he thought that Enroth would only clock an 88 mph slapper.
In the end, Adam blew away all expectations by unleashing a beast of a clapper. 98.1 mph!
Even Adam was blown away by his own accomplishment!
My good man, Brian Duff, caught up with Adam before the event.

Afterwards, Adam was brimming with pride.

Adam has nothing to feel bad about as he can tell his grand kids that he took part in a historical event.
Zdeno Chara's 108.8 mph bomb set the record for hardest slap shot ever in an NHL sanctioned event. Shea Weber unleashed a furious 106 mph rocket, as well.
