Though the Devils didn't play yesterday and don't play tonight, it has been quite busy around the Devils organization over the past couple days. Here are some thoughts/notes on what has gone on.

- Jacob Josefson appears to be fully recovered from his injury and ready to go; however, it is unlikely that he will join the Devils and play with the team right away. Devils beat writer Tom Gulitti is reporting that he expects Jacob Josefson will be sent Albany, at least for now.

It's also worth noting that Tim Sestito, who was placed on waivers yesterday, will be sent to Albany tomorrow as long as he clears waivers.

- Devils D prospect Jon Merrill, who has drawn comparisons to Ryan Suter, has been fully reinstated by Michigan University. He had two assists and finished with a +3 rating in his first game Friday night.

- According to Devils beats, Anton Volchenkov and Travis Zajac both accompanied the Devils on their trip to Calgary. It is unknown if/when either of them will play.

- Former Devils defenseman Mark Fraser, who was traded to Anaheim in the deal that brought Kurtis Foster to the Devils, has been placed on waivers. I honestly don't mind him as a player and think he can be a useful sixth/seventh defenseman. With that said, I highly doubt he'll be claimed.

- The NHL will announce the rest of the players who will participate in the All-Star game on Thursday. I'm curious to get your thoughts on this: who should the Devils representative(s) be?
