Tomorrow is 'Scott Niedermayer night' in New Jersey which is obviously a big story; however, there are a lot of other things going on right now. Allow me to just jump right in.

- Travis Zajac will return tomorrow. He, as expected, will not be playing on the top two lines. Devils Head Coach Pete DeBoer has already stated to members of the Devils media that they will somewhat ease him into the lineup and that he's not going to play 20+ minutes his first game back. That's obviously the smart thing to do, especially with Patrik Elias and Adam Henrique playing so well.

I'd imagine, and hope, that Zajac centers Tedenby and maybe Clarkson(?) on the third line tomorrow.

- In other news, Anton Volchenkov is expected to return tomorrow and Henrik Tallinder will play. I'd imagine one of Matt Taormina or Mark Fayne will come out of the lineup. In my opinion Taormina has played better than Fayne since being recalled, but I imagine it will be Taormina that sits.

- I did some quick research this morning and I noticed that Henrique is ahead of a ton of established NHL players in points even though he's played at least a few less games than almost all of them.

Henrique, who has 23 points on the season, has more points than Alex Ovechkin, Alex Semin, Joe Pavelski, Loui Eriksson, Martin St. Louis, Vinny Lecavalier, Rick Nash, Eric Staal, and Dany Heatley, among others. That's absolutely outstanding if you think about it.

- A few people have asked about this on twitter, so I figured it was a topic worth discussing. Zach Parise can not sign a contract extension with the Devils until January 1st and even though I expect him to re-sign in New Jersey, I doubt something will be done by then. Parise has said countless times that his hope and goal is to re-sign in New Jersey so I imagine he will do just that.

- It has went a little under the radar with all this other news but Johan Hedberg will start tomorrow. I think that's the right decision.
