Habs Top Prospects to Represent Canada

Word has just trickled out that Nathan Beaulieu, Michael Bournival and Brendan Gallagher have all made Team Canada's 2012 World Junior Chamionship squad.

Always a good measuring stick for the future of a team, Habs fans can be confident that there are good things coming up the Canadiens pipeline as, following 12 cuts this morning, the trio of Montreal prospects are all set to follow in Louis Leblanc's foot steps.

Given how few Habs have represented Team Canada over the past few seasons, it's nice to see Trevor Timmins efforts paying off, as well as Pierre Gauthier & co. as Bournival became a Hab courtesy of the Ryan O'Byrne trade.

Thoughts?
