Matchup- Devils (10-7-1 - 21 points) @ Panthers (10-6-3 - 23 points)
TV - MSG Plus 2, Fox Sports - Florida
Puck drop - 7:30 PM ET
Last 5: Devils 3-2-0 / Panthers 3-2-0
Last 10: Devils 6-4-0 / Panthers 5-2-3
Projected starting goalies - Martin Brodeur (NJ) vs. Jose Theodore (FLA)

Battle of the stats

Goals for/against per game

Florida - 2.90 / 2.37
New Jersey - 2.50 / 2.72

Powerplay/Penalty Kill percentage

Florida - 21% / 81.1%
New Jersey - 13.4% / 92.8%

Here are the projected lines (subject to change) for the Panthers:

Tomas Fleischmann - Stephen Weiss - Kris Versteeg
Sean Bergenheim - Tomas Kopecky - Evgeny Dadanov
Marco Sturm - Mike Santorelli - Jack Skille
Shawn Matthias - Tim Kennedy - Michal Repik

Brian Campbell - Jason Garrison
Keaton Ellerby - Ed Jovanovski
Mike Weaver - Dimitri Kulikov

Here are the projected lines (subject to change) for the Devils:

Zach Parise - Adam Henrique - Ilya Kovalchuk
Petr Sykora - Patrik Elias - Dainius Zubrus
Mattias Tedenby - Ryan Carter - David Clarkson
Rod Pelley - Brad Mills - Cam Janssen

Andy Greene - Adam Larsson
Henrik Tallinder - Mark Fayne
Bryce Salvador - Anton Volchenkov

Panthers to watch out for:

Kris Versteeg - After an average year in Philadelphia and Toronto he has really come into his own. 'Steeger' has 22 points (9G, 13A) in just 19 games.

Brian Campbell - Like with Vertseeg, Campbell is also benefiting greatly from a change of scenery. He has tallied 18 points (2G, 16A) in 19 games and looks like the Brian Campbell we saw in Buffalo.

Dmirty Kulikov - The young defenseman is in the middle of his breakout season. Kulikov has 14 points (1G, 13A) on the year including eight points in his last nine games.

Devils to watch out for:

Mattias Tedenby - He's getting a chance to play on the third line so he'll finally get enough minutes to show what he can do.

David Clarkson - He has three goals and four points during his current three-game point-streak. Will he continue to fill the net tonight?

Martin Brodeur - He has been playing very well as of late. Is this what the Devils can expect the rest of the season, or is he just putting together a few good games?
