It appears that forward Petteri Nokelainen and veteran AHL defender Garrett Stafford have been traded to Montreal for forward Brock Trotter and a 7th round pick.
Pretty bland trade all around both sides acquire some depth for their AHL squads, Montreal gets a depth 4th line guy and the Coyotes can now move Gordon to the 4th line and recently called up Andy Miele to the 3rd.
Perhaps the most interesting piece of the trade is Trotter, the 24 year old who has just recently returned from a year in the KHL has started off pretty strongly in the AHL. He led the Bulldog's with 7 points in 5 games. The diminutive forward probably won't amount to much but he sadly might be the best player in the deal.
