Anyway, Darren Dreger has come out on TSN and said that Muckler is talking to other GMs about Martin Gerber. There is a general feeling that this is a sign that Emery, who HAS INDEED played a major part in the Sens revival, may be the #1. However one of my sources tonight in Canada tells me that Gerber is highly sought after by the Lightning and perhaps the only salary cap move either team could make to shake things up would be a swap of goalies.

"There are some who believe that Emery is a number one and some who don't think so for the long hall," said my source,

Could be an interesting move for both teams, and it would bring Gerber back to the division in which he has had so much success, and give the Sens a real strong guy should Emery slip or get injured.
