Are Doughty and Kings doing a Slow Fade? Parise a Target? Isles/Sabres |

up late tonight attempting to get to the bottom of the Doughty situation..
There are many out there who feel Doughty will get done in LA, and that the Kings want to make him a "lifer.". Many others who feel this was done until both sides were thrown by the Stamkos deal...
Lately, even the language has changed and suddenly Lombardi isn't talking like this is a given. For all the Stamkos talk around the NHL, I have to say that Yzerman was far more confident publicly than Dean is being now.
One very intriguing rumor tonight is the Kings are letting it be known they would consider movng Doughty for Zach Parise. In many ways this is the kind of deal that cold benefit both teams right now and there is no doubt that Lou Lamoriello covets Drew Doughty and is missing the bygone days of Niedermayer, Stevens, Rafalski in NJ...
Both Parise and Doughty could change coast with longterm deals..and if that is possible are we in the "slow fade" we have seem from Lombardi before..when a player is possibly getting moved and a GM doesn't want to shock the fan base...
Or...Lombardi is playing some hardcore poker right now.
Wolski..
Much chatter coming out of Long Island tonight..and beyond just the interesting news that Nabokov will slip an Islanders jersey on and report to camp..
The Isles are watching the Wolski situation closely..as is Columbus..If Callahan's ruling comes in high most believe Wolski will be bought out in the second buyout period coming up.
The Isles and Predators are also talking to Buffalo...no word on who the Sabres will be moving to get the 4Million off the cap they need...
