Craig Anderson
Nothing else to say but, WOW. Andy stole games for us throughout the season and playoffs. He nailed this team down and was one of the symbolic figures of our rebuilding process. The only knock I have on him is his 5-hole was revealed a weakness more then a few times. But again, WOW we really made a smart signing there. Kudos to the management team.
Chris Stewart
Stu is an interesting player indeed. There were times in the season where we were simply amazed by stu's growth and poise. Stewart was our leading goal scorer and a huge part of this team. While he did go through mental lapses and seemed invisible from time to time he is a natural goal scorer and has the size and capability to be great.
Matt Duchene
Matt Duchene was a full out stud this season. He took the pressure of being a top 3 pick and thrived off of it. Duchene was the kind of player who lifted me off my couch whenever he touched the puck. You know when a player has that effect on people he is certainly special indeed. John Tavar- who??? [;)] Just kidding isles fans both players are talented. I guess we will have to see if matty suffers a sophmore slump like so many players before him.*knocks on wood*
Peter Mueller
Peter Mueller is another interesting one like Stewart.(irronic considering we're working on both their offer sheets) Muells clearly did not fit in Pheonix. However, when he moved to the mile high in the Tinman deal Muells play improved drastically. It's surprising how much a scenery change can effect a player. He was also a huge force on our previously lacking PP. My only question about him now is....how will he come back from a concussion?
David Jones
Not to much to write about jonesy but that early in the season he was phenomenal. It was looking like he was going to have his breakout season until he tore his ACL. This was tragic especially because of our unexpected success. Who knows how we would have done with a healthy Jones AND Muells.
T.J. Galiardi
Gali was great both ways alongside O'reilly on the PK. Gali also played with heart and emotional most games. Selke Potential.
Brandon Yip
Yip has potential to be a top 6 forward. The kid is a sniper. I'm expecting around 15-25 goals this season.
Ryan O'Reilly
Factor is just a great character guy. From what I hear everyone in the lockeroom loves him and I see him sporting the 'C' one day.
