As I mentioned late last night on Twitter (its why ya gots to follow, man!) Smyth could be out a while. The Kings simply said last night it was an "upper body injury" - Helene Elliot stated in her report today that "it might not be serious".

My sources in Florida told me last night that "it was serious" - According to Hammonds latest report, Smyth is expected to see Kings doctors tomorrow. Terry Murray did say Ryan Smyth will not play tomorrow night and will be out “longer than that, for sure." There was no practice today so I couldn't get the exact number of weeks he'll be out but I was told last night Smyth could be out 4-6 weeks.

Will know more at practice tomorrow in the AM.
