Minus Oduya, Martin, Pandolfo and now Rob Niedermayer. The Devils welcome my favorite player; Pat Elias. He will step into the fold and center replacing Niedermayer.

Time will tell but i think hell be a good partner for Bergfors and hope the chemistry will build in the next couple of games.

Jay Leach has been claimed by the Habs on re-entry waivers. The insurance NJ had is now gone. This wont bother many Devils fans as Leach had fallen out of favor. Montreal assumes half of his salary.

Lamoriello will be inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday. It is well deserved and we are very fortunate to have him at our helm for this long period of time.
He said in an interview on the NHL Hour that it has been a blessing to be part of two organizations his career and to be able to run a hockey team on his terms has allowed a chemistry, philosophy and culture to be built in NJ and allowed the team to be successful. Thank you Uncle Lou!
