In the meantime, USA Hockey has announced that it will unveil its 23 man roster at the Winter Classic in a special ceremony. BRILLIANT idea. Just perfect. The Winter Classic hits such a broad scope of people in America and has quickly become the one true American hockey event of the year.

This will definitely hype up the American public and help American hockey fans zone in on who are the best hockey players who are American.

Many are doubting the Americans have a legit shot at a medal in Vancouver in a few months. I am not among the doubters. Winning it all would be quite the "Miracle 2" given the youth of the American team, but this team is not low on competitors, and is being built carefully into a "team game" type that may give some star heavy teams fits.

It will be fun, that's for sure.


As for the Forsberg rumors to the KHL...my sources say, "No way" but of course if I have learned anything it is that "No Way" is the worst thing you can say...

Speaking of which, who is looking forward to Phil Kessel's return tonight?
