Ryan Miller is the hottest goaltender in the NHL. I'm seeing a level of consistency and a focus in him thus far that I haven't seen in him before this season. The guy has the eye of the tiger. Friday night will be a perfect opportunity to show Brian Burke and Ron Wilson who will be the boss of Team USA's blue ice in Vancouver come February.

The luck of the South Buffalo Irish was with rookie
Tim Kennedy in Newark on Wednesday night. TK beat first ballot Hall Of Famer, Marty Brodeur, for his first NHL goal. Kennedy's buddy, Pat Kane's first NHL goal was scored against some guy names
Dominik Hasek.

Clarke MacArthur's torrid goal scoring streak continues. 41 now has five goals.
Jason Pominville's third (and one assist) and
Paul Gaustad's second rounded out the Buffalo scoring against Brodeur.
***
Paetsch and Montador were +2 apiece in Joisey. Lydman's groin strain may keep him on the pine vs. Tronna.

Tyler Myers will stay in Buffalo. Shocker, eh?

Jacques Lemaire's team is dressing as King Tut for Halloween..
They are mostly in bandages.
Paul Martin will sit tonight, as will
Jay Pandolfo.
Jamie Langenbrunner has been nursing an ailment.
Patrik Elias is not playing right now.
This is a prime opportunity for the Sabres to grab two points with an honest, aggressive, sixty minute road effort.
***
Miller vs. Brodeur--- my USA vs. Canada Olympic matchup even before Luongo was injured last night.
***
Petey is all dressed up with nowhere to play tonight.
***
Chainsaw out. Paetsch in.
***
I'm calling my shot right now.
The
NY Yankees will defeat the Philadelphia Phillies in six games to earn their 27th World Series title.
