Groin strain will keep Toni Lydman in street clothes in New Jersey. Nathan Paetsch gets the tap for his second straight start.

I'm a man of very few words.

True or False?

Tyler Myers stays in Buffalo after Wednesday's game in Newark.

Speaking of Joisey.....

More injuries for the Devils. Paul Martin (fractured wrist) and Jay Pandolfo (broken wing) will be lost to the team for the next 4-6 weeks. Horrendous news for Jacques Lemaire. This injury seriously sabotages Martin's chances for playing for Team USA at the Vancouver Olympics in February.

Good Luck replacing Martin. He leads the Devils with 23:57 in ice time per game. He plays 5 on 5, PP, and PK.

Patrik Elias has yet to practice with the Devils this season after having arthroscopic groin surgery in september. He has been skating on his own since October 6. Don't count on seeing him vs. Buffalo.

Miller vs. Brodeur is my call for starting goaltenders for USA and Canada, respectively, in Couver.

Dan Paille left the Bruins to travel back to Buffalo on Monday.

Coach Julien gave him a free pass to go get his winter coat.

"He just went back home to get his stuff," Julien said. "He came with a suitcase from Florida, so we thought we'd send him home to get the rest of his stuff".
