I will have some quick hits for you throughout the day as there is a sense that once again today may not be quiet on the trade front..

I am suddenly getting inundated with text messages from source that the Kings and Hawks are getting deeper on Frolov. I know the Habs made a pitch but I believe that the right match might not be there right now. It really looks as though Lombardi wants a top D-man and I believe he can get one.

I am looking into a Leafs rumor involving Frolov as well. Exelby and Toskala (plus a prospect or picks) for Frolov. I am a bit surprised that the Kings would take on Toskala's salary with Quick playing as well as he is, but there appears to be some concern that should the Kings make a playoff run they would need more than Quick.
